We’ve been talking about it for a while and just had to make a big splash. Now, with the official launch of the mUZIC.radio festival, to be held from 18 August to 16 September 2025 in Lausanne and Geneva (Switzerland), we’re ready to announce a few new features about UZIC for the coming weeks/months:
- New website: and we’re so proud of it! In 2 languages (EN + FR), with a page for the radio tracklisting.
- Dj contest: from 30 June to 10 August 2025 inclusive, the UZIC programming team and its committee of expert DJs are waiting for dj-mixes, live-acts and tracks to be evaluated before being broadcasted as part of the mUZIC.radio festival.
- mUZIC.radio festival: from 18 August to 16 September 2025, 30 days of madness in Lausanne and Geneva with FM radio (FM 90.4 in Lausanne + FM 101.7 in Geneva) and 9 dates for free DJ events in the 2 major cities of French-speaking Switzerland.
- New IT services: UZIC radio now uses Airtime Pro software for its music programming, facilitating collaborative working and live radio broadcasts. The other major change is the migration of our servers to Geneva-based ISP Infomaniak. It won’t affect your musical journey, but it’s worth mentioning.
- We’ve even got a new Instagram page and a new Youtube channel. If you can give us a boost and subscribe now (while we wait for the content… with some surprises to show you from Friday 22 August đŸ˜‰ that would be great!
So much for the changes.
What hasn’t changed now :
- UZIC is giving electronic music pride of place. 24/7 music programming, just the way we like it.
- The old listening links will continue to work.
- Our favourite colour? Black.
- Our favourite artists? People who play good music and don’t get carried away.
- Lausanne, epicentre of electronic music in Europe!
